There might be seasons technically but they're gonna be even less impactful than what we were getting before this last update, which was almost nothing but swapping number around. This update is like a big send off with D4 around the corner and it will be ALL hands on deck for D4 to keep it running and to avoid the mistakes of D3, I'm sure they will either outsource the maintenance of rotating seasons with no or little changes, or just keep hitting the reset button. 'The story, in my opinion, is among the worst Ive ever seen in a AAA game.
The game has been on life support, literally run by a skeleton crew, since around season 5. Worded poorly, I don't think there will be anything close to substantial and think they're just gonna reset ladder and maybe tune down Tal Rasha and then repeat until they decide the pull the plug, it won't be anything like adding new mechanics or systems like we got this time.
